Ovogodišnja ceremonija dodjele nagrada Tony, 77. po redu, održana je u nedjelju, 16 juna u pozorištu David H. Koch u Lincoln Centru u New Yorku.
Nagrade su dodijeljene za pozorišnu sezonu 2023./2024., a ceremoniju je obilježila izvedba hita “Empire State of Mind” u izvedbi Jay-Z-a i Alicia Keys.
Nagrade Tony, nazvane po Antoinette Perry, američkoj glumici i producentici iz razdoblja Drugog svjetskog rata, dodijeljene su u 25 kategorija za izuzetna dostignuća u području predstava i mjuzikla. Ove godine, predstava “Stereophonic” i mjuzikl “Hell’s Kitchen” istaknuli su se s najviše nominacija, po 13 svaka.
Ceremoniju je pratila ekskluzivna lista gostiju iz svijeta pozorišta i zabave, a nagrade su zasluženo prepoznale vrhunske talente i postignuća u bogatoj kazališnoj sezoni.
